Ken Brown – Vertical Vegetables with Garlic – Learn about the home production of vegetables with an emphasis on effectively utilizing small spaces to maximize the harvest. Many vegetables can be grown on a variety of vertical structures and Ken shows some of the many that he has created to produce an amazing quantity of back yard grown food. He is also a believer that a front yard vegetable garden is much more appealing than plain green grass. Garlic is an essential part of his garden each year and it grows very vertical all on its own. Ken will talk about the tips and tricks that he has learned over the years to produce great garlic at home.
Lena McCormick – Will be showing us Garlic Four Ways. That’s right, raw, roasted, smoked and black garlic!! I will be preparing one base dip, with all individual forms of garlic added in. Taste them side by side to see for yourself the broad differences there is in taste by how you treat the incredible garlic clove.

The garlic braiding classes have been unfortunately cancelled for the 2016 Garlic Festival due to unforeseen problems from the farm used to supply the garlic required for the event. Bryan wishes to apologize to everyone who was planning to take his class this year.
