GARLIC FOUR WAYS – That’s right, raw, roasted, smoked and black garlic!! I will be preparing one base dip, with all individual forms of garlic added in. Taste them side by side to see for yourself the broad differences there is in taste by how you treat the incredible garlic clove. I will explain how you can smoke your own garlic in a simple barbecue, how to make a quick roasted garlic, as well as test out some crazy garlic hacks. Have a garlic hack of your own? Lena McCormick was born in Toronto, came to Stratford in 1992 and married a local Stratford firefighter. Graduated with honors from the renowned Stratford Chef School in 2009. Has worked in pastry as well as all aspects of the kitchen. Restaurants include various positions at Langdon Hall Relais and Chateaux in Cambridge, Pastry Chef at Let Them Eat Cake and all positions including sous chef at the Keystone Alley Cafe for the original owners.
Passions are everything food, especially foraging and using my custom made smoker to smoke anything and everything!! (By the way, smoked bananas are not that good, don’t bother trying them. LOL)
